I studied at Colchester Institute and achieved a BA(hons) in Graphic media before studying for an MA in illustration at Camberwell College of Art. Unseen elements play a very important role in my work. From looking at hidden spaces and documenting dream sequences, to reading between the lines of written text, my work aims to make the viewer see something that was previously unnoticed or hidden in plain sight. I work in a variety of mediums, but mostly use the process of etching and chine colle to create images and I often use book works as a means to display illustrations.

I love books and storytelling and I greatly enjoy exploring narative through image making. I seek to find and make stories out of everything that I see, often finding inspiration in the most unlikely of places. I am inspired by objects, situations and conversations that appear to be mundane at first and greatly enjoy turning them in to something interesting.
